If you have the heart, the time and a vehicle capable of carrying boxes of food, we need you!  We are looking for strong individuals who will go to a designated local grocery store to pick up extra food and bring it back to the pantry for distribution.  This could be a commitment for once a week or as many days you would like to help out!

Please note: You must be 16 years of age or older to volunteer!

Once a month we honor a member or team from our volunteer group as the Volunteer of the Month.

We cannot express enough our thanks to all the volunteers who faithfully show up every week as drivers, food sorters, distributors and administrators.

Ellen Starr is our September Volunteer of the Month!

Ellen Starr has been with The Community Food Connection for many years.  She has served as our Volunteer Coordinator, Community Liason and as a Board Member.  Currently, she is a driver picking up food from our grocery store partners.  Ellen's heart is rooted in serving people with food insecurity.  She is excellent at welcoming new volunteers, offering training, and encouragement.  She is always happy and willing to help!  We are so grateful to have Ellen as part of our volunteer team at The Community Food Connection!

The Community Food Connection is proud to cultivate a dynamic and diverse work environment, one that plays a critical role in our ambitious work to end hunger in our communities. We are always looking for insightful team members who have backgrounds and skills from across the professional spectrum, who join our organization because they want to make a real difference in the lives of those most in need.

Please note: You must be 16 years of age or older to volunteer!
