It Starts with the Will to Make a Difference
Since 2002, our success in helping the community has been made possible thanks to people just like you. With your generous contribution, no matter how great or small, we are able to truly make a difference. We are grateful for any help you can provide, and guarantee it will change lives for the better.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can
change the world.
Without our Volunteers, there would be no Food Pantry! We seek heart-centered individuals who can pick-up food at our various partner organizations, sort and box food for distribution, distribute to our customers at our Poway site three times a week and help at special events. With your generous volunteering efforts, you have the capacity to help us in our endeavor to fight hunger. Contact us to learn more.
NOTE: You must be 16 years of age or older to Volunteer.
As we look to increase the amount of food we give to individuals and families, we welcome food donations from the community, whether it be from your back-yard garden, extra cans or packages from your pantry, or the fruit from your trees, we take it all! It takes a village to help keep people fed. See how you can help by contacting one of our representatives.
The Community Food Connection was founded in 2002 to support the greater San Diego area’s struggle with feeding the food insecure. We’ve dedicated countless resources to this charitable cause, and we hope you’ll help us continue this work.
