Community Food Connection Grateful for $10,000 Grant from the Poway Foundation but Still Seeks Donations
A recent $10,000 grant from the Poway Community Foundation will help The Community Food Connection purchase storage sheds and an AED medical device, officials said.
Being able to use the foundation’s grant — which was part of $78,500 in grants the foundation awarded to a dozen Poway nonprofits in mid-December — is a big help, said the organization’s President Kim Rearick.
